We are delighted to report that during the last week, Icon, Clerkenwell Design Week and On Office have joined Blueprint as London based media partners.
Elspeth Rae of Clerkenwell Design Week said today, “WAD is a fantastic concept and one that can only get bigger year on year. Architects are such an important demographic for CDW and to be able to support WAD and encourage the gathering of like-minded field-leaders in London, one of the world’s leading architecture hubs, is a real privilege.”
Registrations for the day are coming in from literally the four corners of the globe, no doubt inspired by the ever growing line-up of international panelists, the most recent addition being Jean Mah, principal at Perkins + Will who will be joining the World Architecture Day healthcare panel. Their award winning Kenyan Women and Children’s Wellness Centre has been gaining rafts of positive feedback on the WAN website.
Michael Hammond, programme Director said, “This is a perfect example of the type of project we’re looking to showcase, where this huge US firm has managed to apply their international expertise at a human scale in Africa…”
The Kenyan Women and Children’s Wellness Centre won the WAN AWARDS Healthcare unbuilt category in 2011.
